Heleen Malherbe, DPhil, is a practicing clinical psychologist and psychotherapist based in the garden county of Kent, United Kingdom. Originally trained as a psychodynamic psychotherapist this model cements all other modalities she chooses to work in. She was fortunate to be part of the first group of South African psychotherapists to train in Ericksonian Hypnotherapy under Dr Woltemade Hartman (PhD). As part of Dr Hartman’s group practice she experienced the excitement of the development of the Milton H. Erickson Institute of South Africa (MEISA). Further training was received in Ego State Therapy, Eye Movement Integration (EMI), EdxTM (Energy Psychology), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and Mindfulness techniques. She is a qualified supervisor and trainer in Ego State Therapy. She spent most of her working life in private practice in South Africa, also employed within forensic and corporate settings, as well as an oncology clinic. During 2009 she extended her professional career to the United Kingdom Private Health Service as Lead Psychologist in medium and low secure private psychiatric hospitals. Currently she serves as President of Ego State Therapy International (ESTI), having been the United Kingdom representative on the Central Board (Executive) of ESTI. She is the Director of the Milton H Erickson Institute of London, Head Psychologist at a private unit for adults with intellectual disabilities and in private practice in outer London.

Maggie Phillips, Ph.D, lives and works as a clinical psychologist in the Oakland Hills above the San Francisco Bay. She has taught at major conferences and offered invited workshops on trauma, Somatic Experiencing, hypnosis, Ego-State Therapy, EMDR, behavioral medicine, and Energy Psychology in the U.S., Canada, Europe, South Africa, Australia, Scandinavia, Hong Kong, China, Malaysia, and Japan. As the author of numerous papers and articles on trauma, dissociation, ego-state therapy, hypnosis, and mind-body healing, she specializes in the treatment of traumatic stress and pain disorders. She is on the faculty of the Somatic Experiencing Trauma Institute, and is a Fellow of both the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis and of the International Society for the Study of Trauma and Dissociation. Dr. Phillips is co-recipient of the Cornelia Wilbur award from International Society for the Study of Trauma and Dissociation and of the President’s Award and the Crasilneck award for the best new writing in the field of hypnosis from ASCH. Dr. Phillips is the author of four books. She has also recorded three well-regarded CD programs on pain. H She is also the creator of a highly effective multi-media online pain self-help program as well as a CD pain coaching program for success and numerous audio downloads. Maggie has developed a popular monthly teleseminar series featuring experts in the field of mindbody health . As an innovator in mindbody healing and the treatment of persistent pain and trauma reactions, Dr. Phillips is particularly interested in the interface of trauma, dissociation, and emotional and physical pain conditions.
TREASURER: JENNY DA SILVA
Jenny da Silva (M.Ed. (Ed Psych) (UJ); B.Ed. (Hons) (Ed Psych) (RAU); B.Ed. (Life Orientation) (RAU)) is a registered Educational Psychologist in private practice in Radiokop, Roodepoort / Randburg, South Africa. She is a fellow director of the Milton H. Erickson Institute of South Africa. She received her training as an Ericksonian psychotherapist and Ego-State Therapist through the Milton Erickson Institute of South Africa (MEISA). She is also trained in Eye Movement Integration (EMI) and Somatic Experiencing (SE). She has presented at international and national conferences on the utilization of Ericksonian Principles in conjunction with ego-state interventions with children. She is regularly consulted by journalists and the media on various topics.

Woltemade Hartman ,Ph.D is a Clinical and Educational Psychologist, and psychotherapist in private practice in Pretoria, South Africa. He received his training as an Ericksonian psychotherapist at the Ericksonian Foundation in Phoenix, Arizona, USA. Dr Hartman also trained as an Ego State therapist with Prof J.G. Watkins and Mrs H. Watkins in Missoula, Montana, USA. He is the author of “Ego state therapy with sexually traumatized children” and “Einführung in die Ego-State Therapie”, as well as various articles on the topic of hypnosis and psychotherapy. Dr Hartman is a past executive committee member of the South African Society of Clinical Hypnosis, past member of the Board of Psychology of the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) and is the Founding Director of the Milton H. Erickson Institutes of South Africa (MEISA). He currently serves as President of Ego State Therapy International (ESTI) and is a Board Member of the International Hypnosis Society (ISH). Dr Hartman is a Senior Research Fellow at the Department of Psychology at the University of Johannesburg and lectures in South Africa, Europe, Australia, Canada, USA, Scandinavia China and Japan. He also currently teaches on an annual basis for the Milton H. Erickson Society of Germany (MEG), and the Milton Erickson Society of Austria (MEGA). He has been a Keynote Speaker at various international congresses. CAROLUSSON, SUSANNA - SWEDEN
Susanna Carolusson, M.Sc Psychology, Lic Psychologist, Lic Psychotherapist, Certified University supervisor and teacher of psychoanalytic orientation. Hypnotherapist, Body psychotherapist. Honorary member and past president of SSCH. She started as a psychologist in paediatrics 30 years ago, continued in psychiatry with adults, then started her private practice 1987 and became educational director in the Swedish Society for Clinical Hypnosis. Susanna was lecturing world wide and in Sweden on leadership, communication and stress management for managers at L.M. Ericsson 1993-2001, and was a frequent guest lecturer at Gothenburg University 1998-2009. She has published two books (publ.in three languages), co-authored four books and written articles on hypnosis and psychotherapy; clinical, scientific, existential, trauma, brain injury and communication. She recorded CD cassettes for self hypnosis, with tracks for stress management, sleeping, soothing irritable bowels, calming down over-reactive immune system, taking an imaginary "vacation", etc. Susanna is frequently interviewed about psychology, hypnosis and ethics on Swedish radio/TV and also in newspapers and magazines. Now doing psychotherapy, supervising teams, rehabilitation staff, psychotherapists and medical professionals of all categories. She was directing the SSCH hypnotherapy program since 1985, the postgraduate training in psychotherapy and hypnosis 1993-2006, and now the EST-SE advanced level of hypnosis-based Ego State Therapy. She is an often invited speaker at international congresses since 1996, on hypnosis and depression, ego state therapy, trauma treatment, psychosomatics and hypnosis, hypnosis in psychotherapy, rehabilitation and care for those with psychoneurological diagnoses; brain injury, stroke, trauma, dementia and , education and ethics.
CRONAUER, ELFIE -GERMANY
Elfie Cronauer works in private practice in Mönchengladbach, Germany as a psychodynamically oriented psychotherapist. Elfie primarily works with adults in her practice. She is certified as a Rogerian therapist and hypnotherapist. She has also been trained in the techniques of PITT (Reddemann), Ego State Therapy, Focusing, in the theory and therapy of the Structural Dissociation Model (Nijenhuis et al.), as well as in energy psychology. She is an EMDR consultant and certified as a specialist in Trauma Therapy (DeGPT).
HARNUM, ANN MARIE -DENMARK
Anne-Marie Harnum is a licensed clinical psychologist in her Copenhagen based clinical practise. She was taught EST by Maggie Phillips, Claire Frederick and John and Helen Watkins in the early 90´s. She was the president of the Danish Society of Clinical Hypnosis from 1995 - 2005 and has organized workshops and congresses in that capacity. She has also received training in SE (Somatic Experiencing) and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and has served as a board member of EMDR-Denmark. She continues to teach and supervise the theory, principles and methods of EST to health professionals. And she has applied EST in her practice on a everyday basis for the past 17 - 18 years with special focus on anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD. She has published several articles and book contributions about hypnotherapy as well as her own book "Hypnosis Demystified" in Danish.
HAUSLEITNER-JILCH, SUSANNE -AUSTRIA
Susanne Hausleithner-Jilch is a psychotherapist in private practice in Vienna, Austria. She received her initial training in client centered psychotherapy which she completed in 1979. Susanne also received continued training as a child and adolescent psychotherapist and completed her training in the application of clinical hypnosis with children, adolescents and adults at the Milton Erickson Gesellchaft Austria (MEGA). Susanne is currently an executive board member of the MEGA and she is also an official trainer of MEGA specifically responsible for the child and adolescent curriculum. She is currently a board member of Ego State International (ESTI) representing Austria in this international forum.

Susanne Leutner, Dipl.-Psychologin, is founding member of EST-A Germany, trainer in Ego-State-Therapy, working in her own practice in Bonn as a psychodynamically oriented therapist for adults, children and adolescents, as well as teaching in the Ego-State-Therapy Institut Rheinland. She is a therapist in Rogerian and Systemical Therapy, PITT (Reddemann), Ego-State-Therapy, in Theory and Therapy of the Structural Dissociation Model (van der Hart, Nijenhuis et al.), and Hypnotherapy and and a specialist in Trauma Therapy (DeGPT). She is an EMDR consultant and facilitator, Vice President of the German Board of EMDRIA and Board Member of EMDR Europe. MENDE, MATTHIAS - AUSTRIA
Matthias Mende, Ph.D, Clinical Psychologist, Emergency Psychologist, Psychotherapist, Certified Hypnosis-Psychotherapist. Immediate Past President of the European Society of Hypnosis (ESH). Board Member of the International Society of Hypnosis (ISH). He studied psychology at the University of Vienna. He formerly held an appointment for clinical psychodiagnostics at the Department for Forensic Psychiatry at the University of Munich, Germany. In 1994, he founded the Psychotherapy-Center for Hypnosis-Psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Biofeedback in Salzburg, Austria, together with his wife, Eva-Maria Mende, PhD. He is occupied with clinical, research and educational issues in the field of hypnosis. His clinical work is focused on the treatment of anxiety disorders, trauma-related disorders, psychosomatics and burnout. He is a trainer for Hypnosis-Psychotherapy of the ÖGATAP, the Austrian Constituent Society of ESH and ISH. He is also an appointed teacher for hypnosis of the Austrian Medical Chamber (ÖÄK). In his clinical work is using hypnosis-psychotherapy as a comprehensive psychotherapeutic modality of its own, integrating psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral and systemic approaches.
MEYERSON, JOSEPH - ISRAEL
Joseph Meyerson M.A., currently a PhD candidate, is a clinical psychologist, hypnotic psychotherapist, supervisor and manager at HypnoClinic in Tel Aviv. He also is a Tteaching Fellow at Tel Aviv University, Past President of the Israeli Society of Hypnosis and currently serves as chairman of the Ministry of Health's Examination Committee for Hypnosis Accreditation. Joseph Meyerson has authored several papers and book chapter on the subject of hypnotic and strategic psychotherapy and particularly on the use of dissociative-associative strategies and paramnesias in hypnotherapy. Currently he lectures at many national (Israel) and international (US, Malta, Austria, Germany, Italy, Turkey, Ireland) conferences on these topics and supervises numerous professionals (psychologists, psychiatrists, physicians and dentists) who utilize hypnosis in their practice.
POLLANI, EVA - Austria
Eva Pollani, M.Sc, works as a certified Hypnosis Psychotherapist for adults, adolescents, children and couples in her private practice in Grafenbach, Austria. She has studied in Vienna, where she did research on the topic of Psychotherapy and Hypnosis. Her Master thesis she analyzed the matter wether there are biographic roots supporting the decision when deciding to become a Hypnopsychotherapist. She is a fully certified trainer for the Österreichische Gesellschaft für angewandte Tiefenpsychologie und allgemeine Psychotherapie (ÖGATAP) and teaches Hypnosis-Psychotherapy . Eva is Co-Founder and Co-Leader for the postgraduate training of Clinical Hypnosis for psychotherapists for the Österreichische Gesellschaft für angewandte Tiefenpsychologie und allgemeine Psychotherapie (ÖGATAP). Eva is a member of the organizing committee of the Österreichische Gesellschaft für angewandte Tiefenpsychologie und allgemeine Psychotherapie (ÖGATAP) winter congress. She lectures for the Milton Erickson Society of Germany (MEG) as well as for the Milton Erickson Society of Austria (MEGA) and holder of the European Certificate for Hypnosis (ECH). She is also an executive board member of Ego State Therapy International (ESTI) where she currently holds the position of Secretary and Treasurer. She is appointed trainer and supervisor for Eye Movement Integration (EMI) and Impact Therapy. She follows her approach of unity in diversity and integrates Energy Diagnostic and Treatment Method/Fred Gallo (EDxTM) and has finished her certification in Somatic Experiencing (SE). He is a Ph.D. (Psychopathology and Clinical Psychology) and a Psychotherapist with a Solution-Oriented Therapy emphasis (Group Psychodrama, Ericksonian and Clinical Hypnosis, Ego-states Therapy, Solution-oriented therapy, transpersonal approach, Processes-oriented therapy). RICHARD-HERBERT, PETER - AUSTRALIA
Peter Richard-Herbert is an Analytical Psychotherapist and Clinical Hypnotherapist in private practice in Sydney, Australia. Peter received his training in Freudian Psychoanalysis and Analytical Psychotherapy at the National College of Psychotherapy in London (UK) graduating in 1983. Peter completed his training as a Clinical Hypnotherapist in the UK in 1983 and furthered his study in Australia graduating from the college of the Australian Society of Clinical Hypnotherapists in 1985. He commenced further studies and trained as an Ego State Therapist with Professor Gordon Emmerson (2009) with whom Peter is now a founding member of the Australasian Ego State Therapy Association (AESTA). He is a former NSW President of The Australian Hypnotherapists' Association (2010-12) and National President of the Australasian Ego State Therapy Association (AESTA). Peter is a Fellow of the National Council of Psychotherapists (UK) and has worked clinically with clients for 28 years. Peter Richard-Herbert was trained in Neuro Linguistic Programming by Professor John Grinder in 1985 and received his Masters in Cultural Psychology and Narrative Therapy from the University of Western Sydney (UWS) in 2003. He is currently in the final year of his Doctorial thesis researching a Personality Profile Pre-selective Device for the International Human Resources industry. Peter is incorporating Ego State Therapy Theory into his higher research degree within a transdisciplinary mode-2 paradigm. Over the years Peter has worked with Corporations as a Profiler at boardroom level and International sports athletes as a motivational trainer. He has trained in Solution Oriented Hypnosis under Bill O'Hanlon, a student of Dr Milton Erickson and has also studied Behavioural Psychotherapy Techniques with Dr Victor Meyer at St Lukes Hospital, London in the early eighties. SCHLORFF, MAX - SWITZERLAND
Max Schlorff works as a psychologist and psychotherapist for children, adolescents, adults and families in private practice in Zurich, Switzerland. TIEN REDMAN, SYA - SWEDEN
Sya Tien Redman is a clinical psychotherapist in private practice in Stockholm, Sweden. After completing her education in psychotherapy, in Sweden referred to as “Step 1”, she started to work as dance psychotherapist at Södersjukhuset in Stockholm, where she treated patients with serious mental disorders until she finished in 1994. She operates clinically as psychotherapist at her private practice in Stockholm since 1990. She initiated her specialization as ego-state therapist in 1994, by way of completing The Swedish Association of Clinical Hypnosis education, referred to as “Step 2”, after which she acquired the status of licensed psychotherapist. In 2008 Sya completed her tutor education, referred to as “Step 3”. During her career, Sya has written several academic articles on dance psychotherapy, and the use of ego-state as effective treatment of chronic fatigue syndrome. Added to her clinical work with ego-state, she has also tutored and lectured within the subject on several occasions.

Dr. phil. Silvia Zanotta works as a psychologist and psychotherapist for children, adolescents, adults and families in private practice in Zurich, Switzerland. She is a certified trainer and case consultant in Ego State Therapy, as well as founder and co-chair of EST-CH, Ego State Therapy Switzerland. Silvia Zanotta has certified in Person-Centered-Therapy (Carl Rogers), Trauma-Therapy (PITT), Clinical Hypnosis (MEG and Ghyps) and Ego-State-Therapy (FEST and ESTI), including Energy Psychology and Somatic Experiencing in her work.
